We will be screening a recent documentary by Owen Hartford, one of the founding members that details the history of the Gloucester Hornpipe & Clog Society from 1976 to 2017.  The film will help you understand the history of this New England folk music group, its origins and place in Irish and maritime folk traditions, the reasons for its longevity and its impact on its members.

Both Owen, and another founding member, David Rosen will be on hand for a Q&A session after the film.  Light refreshments will be provided.  Come learn about the band and then plan to attend their annual Benefit Concert for the Friends the following weekend!
