The Mayor has established a new Percent for Art program for the City of Boston, and the first proposed project is associated with the renovation of the Jamaica Plain Branch! This new program will bring public art to Boston's neighborhoods via capital improvement projects. This meeting is the first in a series and will be used to gather input from community stakeholders. That way, the City can use that information when they draft the Request for Proposals (RFP) that will go out to artists.
Please attend this meeting and let your voice be heard about what art will decorate the exterior spaces of our renovated JP Branch Library!
